Kerst valt vroeg dit jaar in Dessel, want Graspop Metal Meeting trakteert op vijfentwintig nieuwe pakketjes onder de kerstboom. Laten we alvast beginnen met de meest opmerkelijke naam van de lading, en dat is The Offspring. De Californische punkrockers stonden een kleine maand geleden nog in een uitverkochte ING Arena en komen komende zomer als headliner van donderdag 18 juni naar Graspop. Ook van de partij zijn de Sex Pistols ft. Frank Carter, Bush, Cradle of Filth, Danko Jones en de Belgische publiekslievelingen Fleddy Melculy. Verder maken ook Asomvel, BLACKGOLD, Distant, Dying Wish, Harakiri For The Sky, Hulder, Killus, Leprous, Malevolence, Orden Ogan, Quicksand, Slay Squad, Sleep Theory, Sonata Arctica, Terrorizer, The Pretty Wild, Vicious Rumors en Vltimas deel uit van de opgefriste affiche. De laatste namen worden binnenkort bekendgemaakt.
Graspop vindt in 2026 plaats van donderdag 18 juni tot en met zondag 21 juni. De ticketverkoop is reeds gestart. Meer informatie over het festival vind je op de website.
